Navel, navel

Orange and Blue...a nice color combo...Fun with the color wheel. I just refilled my palette with fresh new colors...out of the tube the watercolors are so shiny and juicy looking...then slowly they get contaminated with other pigments as my brush drags across the various squares and without rinsing dips into another color! Oops.

Glad you are having fun with your new colors! Contaminated? Just wipe them off and keep on painting! I like the freshness of your paintings.

I am enjoying your blog, your wonderful use of color and the complexity of your still life paintings.

Oh, how pretty! That looks like an April Cornell placemat, too. Love the colors. It's good to hear someone else "contaminates" their colors.
