Peony study

It seems the time in the studio is dedicated to studies lately. That's okay, if I'm learning, I'm playing and hopefully improving my art daily. I have a featured show opening this Friday at Frog Hollow State Craft Center in Burlington. I'll also be doing a demo there on Saturday from 1 - 3 p.m. Stop by if you are in the neighborhood....busy busy, but that's good!

Well, this is certainly beautiful--love the rich colors here, Annelein! Good luck with your show.

I think your studies stand alone as beautiful pieces in their own right. Definitely gorgeous, definitely frameable!

Hi, Annelein. Even though I don't comment each time, I am following. I can see that this sketch has great potential. I entered a piece into our Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society that I did after my one-day Peonie workshop with you.
