Winter birches

This is the scene all around me now...snow, snow and more snow. It's pretty, but shoveling is not pretty! Maybe I'll just try to paint it instead! The snow is sticking to all the trees and the birds look so nice perched on the branches..but try as I might it's hard to capture those chickadees with my camera before they scurry off!

It's the same here - there is a blizzard out side my window as we speak! Big, fat flakes! It looks pretty as your painting is - I just hope I can get home from work :0)

Beautiful snow painting. We finally got snow here in north eastern New Mexico. Have you tried a high shutter speed like 500 or even 1000 is better. It will stop those wonderful little chickadees in midflight.
