Ruby Red

A splash of bright color on this TGIF...The new schedule of shows is slowly unfolding and now it's time to take pictures, sort through paintings and see which ones to enter! This piece is 7.5"x7.5". I love that size, it isn't too intimidating and it isn't too small to feel confined...I cleaned my palette and squeezed out fresh dollops of paint...always a joyous occasion!

Just gorgeous! It reminds me that spring is not far
off. I was wondering if you would share what kind of paper you use? Your paintings have such a glorious vibrance and flow that some look like they might be on Yupo. But whatever the paper...I LOVE them all!

Beautiful, ripe flower! I know the feeling of the clean and fresh palette. I tend to use and reuse and reuse and reuse. After awhile, I know when it is time to clean the palette and begin anew. Love it!
