Vendor

My trip to Mexico provided quite a bit of inspiration...this lady selling food on a side street is another painting inspired by the photos I took. This feels a little more like a vignette with all the white space around the colorful center.

I like the color splash in the midst of all the pale gray. Very nice. I also have nice photos of Mexico and always intended to paint some, but never did. You inspire me to go back and sift through them again... Who knows?

Love the painting. I love the easy way you leave the white space. I'm still working on that.

I agree - The white really does make the subject stand out! I love your colour choices too :0)

Another "wowzer" of a painting. You really got the gesture right. It's a scene we've all seen a million times with the slightly slumped body......fabulous!
