Paint, rinse, repeat

Some of you might recognize this musician from an earlier post...I tried to capture him several times on paper. It's good practice to paint something more than once or work in a series...that way you can change your approach, colors, technique etc..hopefully each time you learn something new! (15"x11")

FORGIVE ME

I LOVE THE PICTURE EXCEPT HIS LEGS ARE SHORTER THAN HIS BODY.

Stunning. I still love the look of all of your watercolors. Clean, bright, loose. Congrats on the VT show! Interesting piece.

The first comment you received made me chuckle because of course he is sitting down! But because the chair isn't visible I can see why she might have thought it at first, lol!
He's just great isn't he? I love the colour of his shirt and all of the colours within it. And the light hitting his face brings him to life :0)
