Red with pink

Memories painted from a Cape Cod visit and captured with Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red and even some Opera! I sometimes glaze my reds after they are dry with Opera or another bold translucent pink ..it seems to pop the red and make it glow.

Great composition. So much fun! Love that lobster, I also glaze with DS perinon orange to get a vibrant red:)

Dein Bild ist ausgezeichnet. Nicht nur der Bildaufbau sehr professionel aber auch die Wahl der Farben und Deine leichte Hand.

Hello Annelein:) I'm always feel very sorry for these animals to be boiled alive :(
But your painting is very nice. The reds are nice and the white and black (cloth?) does fit perfect with the total painting. Beautiful!
