sets galore

Is everyone as guilty as I am when it comes to having too many watercolor sets? I have lots of purchased ones..but I also make my own. The two in the middle and the bottom right are made in mint tins. I used sculpey (oven bake clay) and made the dividers for the pigments..the bottom right one has cups I repurposed from a dollar store kid's poster paint set and glued in the tin then squeezed in my own tube watercolors...any lidded tin is fair game!

Oh, yes! I have many sets too--an indulgence: but aren't they pretty!
I'd really be ashamed, though, to show anyone my collection of tubes.

Yes! I am guilty! Sooo glad to hear someone else is as well. I am constantly re-organizing my paint space and/or tools. Just yesterday I loaded up an open vintage suitcase with all of my works in progress, and they are all in view but not taking up my valuable work space and begging for my undivided attention. Am on the lookout for lidded tins, too, to make my life easier! Picture was very satisfying to me that I am not alone!!

I have none. Just tubes and one Crayola set of watercolors I bought from Walmart. And I sure make a mess of the colors with all my mixing!

Hello, I'm exactly like youand I don't feel any guilt at all!! lol...!!
I have a lot of sets and I make my owns too. I have made one in mint's tint, where I just glued 6 pans, 2 yellows, 2 reds and 2 blues.

By the way, I like your watercolors very much!!

Yep, lots of pan sets and I love them all! Funny thing though, I aways use tube colors!

That's what my palettes look like also. Love the idea bout the sculpey for dividers. I also bought some metal trays that were used in military chow halls as a palette, they have dividers and work really well.

Yep, me too. I have one Cotman that I finally used a labeler to mark because it's identical to the artist grade one. I intend to put artist grade in it too.
The sculpey idea is brilliant! I couldn't figure out what to use.

Oh good lord... I don't think I have enough paint pans. Is it odd that I am constantly re-organizing my color tubes? LOL!!
