18" x 24"One of my earlier forays in mixed bouquets...I guess the
negative painting has always been there to a certain extent.
I think I started loosening up after I had bought a bunch of
paper and decided that that was exactly what it was...just a
piece of paper! Standing while painting is another way to loosen up
and let the paint drip and dribble. You use your whole arm and
can get a little further away from your work. Try it some time...oh and
bigger brushes!

I love this painting and your use of negative painting. Beautiful!
I think one thing I like about this painting...and there are a lot of things to like...is that you vignetted the subject matter and left all that white. It's charming! And great choice of colors as well.
