I decided to treat the background a little differently with this tough guy. I used lots of prussian blue and some payne's gray and applied it really wet. It makes for a more moody piece. Maybe that's why I've come up with the title of "Fierce".

Thanks! I actually find myself at various farms taking tons of pictures...no live birds within my city limits...well maybe chickens, but certainly not loud roosters!

It certainly is a nice background to push him forward with his warm, fierce self. I think the attitude is the key to his fierceness. Love this guy!
