"Peony within peonies" 10" x 14"I painted this piece as a result of being a demonstrating
artist in the gardens of Hildene, the summer home of Robert
Todd Lincoln in Manchester, Vermont. They have beautiful
gardens in a fantastic location. I did this a number of years ago
when they sponsored a peony painting contest for a festival
and corresponding art exhibit...this painting won the award.
This is beautiful and peonies are not easy to paint. Just ask me, I'm still striving ...
