Here is another piece from my show in Stowe. (15"x22") I can't believe it's July tomorrow! Time is flying and we've had a rainy couple weeks here...some nice bonus days in between, but just not enough. Let's hope for a great July and August! I'm off to run some art related errands and then it's a jump into the studio to work on the next round of projects...If you have a chance check out my work in the
Richeson 75 show..it's online now.
Congratulations on getting all 3 entries into the Richeson show!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous, Annelein. Love your choice of colors.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful. So many great shapes and colors; I especially love the way the pinks slide into those gorgeous yellows on the right!

ReplyDeleteDear Annelein,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find an email for you on your blog so I hope you don't mind me adding the following in a comment. :o)
I wanted to let you know that I included you in my most recent blog post, (http://www.justaddwatersilly.com/2010/06/see-forest-for-trees.html). I think your paintings are wonderful and I was writing about artists who create successful backgrounds for their paintings and I used your "Waddle" painting as a terrific example. I hope you don't mind. I did also include a link to your blog and of course your name.
I've been a fan of your paintings for awhile and I try to use my favorite artists in some of my blog posts to expose readers to other people's work. Your watercolors are some of my favorites on the web. Your style is incredible.
If you want me to change anything in the blog post just say so.
Best,
Jennifer McLean

Thanks for the tip on the Richeson 75 show website. That was amazing. How does one enter this competition...I browsed a little but really didn't see anything about that. How did you hear about it? Was there a fee to enter? The work was very high quality. Especially yours! Of course.
ReplyDeleteRhythms indeed! I am reminded of the lazy summer days in the great South...verandas and iced tea, buzzing bees and gorgeous blooms!
ReplyDeleteWow--a stunner, Annelein. I am a huge fan of your work--it's always a joy.
ReplyDeleteC,est magnifique....j'aimerais avoir votre talent...Bravo...
