My rules for the kitchen journal are anything that's currently in the kitchen..so that included the one tulip that came up this spring in the garden. I plopped it in a little clear bottle on the windowsill...All the other buds which were ready to burst into blossom had been neatly chewed off their stalks...anyone know who could have been the culprit? We do have a bunny rabbit in the yard this year...and ofcourse squirrels...harrumph!
I really like this kitchen journal...the thing that chews up most of everything where I live ,,is the snail. Maybe they swam the ocean and are now invading Vermont!!! Look out!
ReplyDeletegreat sketch. love your watercolors.
ReplyDeleteHi Annelein, you made me looking at my spatular the other day, (my favorite liflong friend spatular)and you made me thinking: "this thing deserves to be in the history.some day I paint it". It is a great idea to keep the journal and it is very delicious to keep it about the kitchen life :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
