"Standing Invitation"

This is the largest piece I have in the show. (22"x10") As you can see from my previous posts, Basin Harbor is also well known for their colorful Adirondack chairs. They are spread out all over the property just waiting to "invite" you for a little rest.

    Very interesting transformation from light sunny front to dark yet colorful background. I like the format of the painting, it keeps eye moving from the bottom (where the chair is) to a top exploring the beauty of this piece.
