One more Montana post today...This was the house our friends rented..the little cabin from a couple posts ago is another building on the property where we stayed...all snug, in amongst the trees. I buy multi-media sketchbooks, but sometimes cover the outside with handmade papers or a map of the area etc.. It makes the journal less generic and more personal.
Looks beautiful, Annelein. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI got 'cabin fever' last year when we got snowed in - a few inches of snow - but we are in Portland Oregon! Would not mind being stuck in the cabin!
ReplyDeleteLovely painting , I wish I could have holidays here , looks very peaceful place !!!
ReplyDeleteHi, thank you for answering my jpg question.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time you must have had in Montana.
I bet that it is beautiful in the fall.
I like the sketch book idea with a map for a cover. Very clever!
Of course the way you paint is AmaZing!
Sorry I missed your last post! The campfire sketch is fantastic! And this painting is wonderful too. I would love to sketch like this - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove your use of colors and this is really a charming cabin sketch. In the cabin sketch below, I really like how you used the rocks and tall grass to lead into the painting. The angle of the monastery painting is really nice as well. As usual, wonderful!
