Red Background

Mixed media has been my path lately...I've been using some Stabilo Tone pencils and watersoluble pencils, plus some prismacolor pencils over my initial watercolor painting. This one also happens to have some permanent fine tipped black marker. Explorations and discoveries...

  1. What a great idea. I do love my washes of watercolor and then I do love my pencil and ink marks so why not combine the two. I might just have to try this. Thanks for the ideas and this is an awesome rooster.

  2. I am doing much the same with adapting mixed media to watercolors. It feels earthy and sensible to collage and paint together. This avain art is fantastic.
