life changing

My life forever changed last week when my Dad passed away. Slowly I'll emerge from my fog...I painted his portrait last year as part of a larger piece. So bear with me as I try to get back to a regular schedule of posting.

Take good care of yourself as you go through the grieving process.

I hope your art helps you to deal with this horrendous life change,

Hi Annelein, Please accept my condolences. I lost my Dad two years ago after a horrendous battle with Parkinson's disease. Be kind to yourself for the next while. It is hard to let them go.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard this time is, and how the fog just has to run its course and morph and return and morph again.

I look forward to your postings and had been wondering where you were. Jay

I am terribly sorry for you Annelein. I don't even want to imagine how painful that must feel.
It is so lovely that you have this beautiful painting of him and that your art can be of some comfort to you. I imagine we'll be seeing more paintings of him over the coming months? He must have been very proud of your talent.
