For those of you who emailed and commented on my last post..it is the interior of the fortified monastery of Abbey Lerins on Ile Saint-Honorat, France. I'll attempt that painting again.

Gondolas
Venetian Gondolas...it's like painting cows in Vermont! Had fun with this one..not an easy subject, but a good exercise nonetheless. For those of you who emailed and commented on my last post..it is the interior of the fortified monastery of Abbey Lerins on Ile Saint-Honorat, France. I'll attempt that painting again.
Wonderful painting! My wtercolor skills aren't up to that challenge, but we will be there next Spring and I will start sorting through my photos from previous visits to see what may be possible.
