Kitchen journal 3

I had ventured out and bought some Olive Oil in a tin..love the graphics and the colors and ofcourse I had to paint it in my journal. I invented the olive branches around the bottle and tin..it helped that I had seen some olive trees up close while visiting California a couple years ago...they don't grow in Vermont! :) go figure

Great idea with branches Annelein. They bring this piece together. Without them the can woul stay too far from the bottle. Also, great olive color you selected. My favorite one :)
Thank you,
Irina

Lovely one, Annelein. I found an old book when going through my stuff in the garage for a yard sale and came across this book of plants with pictures and descriptions of the leaves. I thought wow, how dumb it would be to put this in the yard sale as I would never have to make a mistake on which leaf goes with which plant again. It's part of my art library now. This is what I look for now at book sales. Enjoy your day!
