On the rocks

I spent the weekend in the Eastern part of the state and had a chance to photograph some new inspiration at the farm across the road from where my art show was. Lots of feathered friends and a very impressive Tom Turkey...boy was he vocal and fluffing up his impressive plumage..so maybe a turkey painting sometime...

The pop of read is so exciting and the soft blues and purples... once again, just fantastic!

Very nice, Annelein. I agree, those turkeys are impressive. They come around every morning where I work to steal the birdseed. They can be so huge, especially when fully puffed out. I don't think most people realize how colorful they are. Look forward to seeing you paint one. I don't dare try at this point.
