"Grippa Zippo"

I'm a bit behind in the DPW Challenges...but I'm a little closer this week...I finished the Zippo challenge as you can see and I just used Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine Blue..the call was for those two colors, plus Titanium White..and with WC...white is the white of the paper...so...a challenge indeed... I like this study very much. It's fresh and vivid-the image here occupies its space quite solidly and pleasingly.Thinking about changing my palette soon. Wonder-what effects a palette change has on just the feel of painting or the feel of going through your day? I've tried before-and I find I am soon back to my familiar colors--a color comfort zone.

Good work Annelein with only two colours, fresh and clean. I like it!

Fantastic! I think yours is about the only one in watercolor,...I did mine in oil and struggled with those little air vents in the lighter. Love it!!!!
