16"x12" portrait of my Grandmother...I never knew her, which may make it easier or harder to do a portrait...I don't know. But I love her hat and fancy wrap...I'm going to paint her some more, maybe with different color combos or closer cropping...we'll see.

ReplyDeleteI like the expression of the face in your portrait. Watercolors with the upper part dark and the lower part where we can still see the white of the paper are among my favorites!
