1 minute

Why is it that sometimes the simpler the line and color the nicer the painting? I guess it's because we stop thinking and just doing and capture what is important at that moment. Time constraints certainly help and give us that immediacy for maximum impact and information. This being a 1 minute gesture pose.

Beautiful! When I am lucky enough to join a life drawing class, it's always the 1- to 5-minute poses I enjoy the most; the longer the pose, the less I like my results!
I think you're exactly right about why that is!
