Jumble of flowers

I'm posting an older piece today...I've been searching the archives and trying to gauge my progress lately. How did I solve problems with my watercolors ten years ago? five years? last year? It's an interesting study. Things are always changing, but I think color choices and passion for a subject matter stay pretty much in line.

Beautiful, Annelein...This piece reminds me of a double exposed image on film.

Wonderful colors! So lively!

Must be fun to look back on your library of work to see that evolution.

It's like a trip back in time with yourself. I look at some pieces I did and wonder if I can do anything that amazing again. Since I've recently picked up my brushes again on a regular basis I've noticed that my style has changed and I'm not sure I like it as much. I think I need to take a course with someone to remember the things I use to know.
