petite practice

Color swatches, practicing negative shapes and lifting pigments. This piece is teeny...like an inch and a half by 2 inches...I have to use my small brushes sometimes too! Off to a meeting today for the VWS...did anyone else have trouble with Blogger yesterday and showing images?

Hi Annelein, I just love your floral studies in watercolors, and have added you to my blogroll. Your work is such an inspiration!

And yes, I had major trouble logging into Blogger today, so guess its all over the place. :)

Lovely. I am a big fan of negative painting.

I can't remember having trouble with blogger y'day.

Oh, how beautiful these swatches are! I love these. That looks like a great exercise and what lovely results. I didn't try to post anything yesterday, so I don't know about blogger, but it IS often temperamental!
