Soaked

Rain rain go away...come again...way way later! Boy oh boy have we seen rain and I'm quite frankly done with it! This painting reminds me of the lovely summer we had...oh well, next year. The water table needs it I guess! Does this mean we'll have a mild winter? Hmmm.

Mornin' Annelein, what a lovely painting..........we are getting remnants of the latest hurricane today from 9 am - 3 pm. Don't know if it means a milder winter but I predicted we would get lots of hurricanes this year and we have. My instincts are usually right on........but, I don't have any about winter just yet. Whatever happens it doesn't bother me, we put in a generator a few years ago and can be off grid anytime. I love the security it brings. Wishing you a beautiful day.

Am right with you! It's been raining hard for what seems like hours here! And those evenings are drawing in - soon the clocks go back... Ugh... Roll on Summer!
Love your watercolour - it's so pretty! Really lovely composition too. :0)

Annelein, the geranium is the lovely flowers; and it is not easy to paint them.Especially if they are scarlet red. I found out that the fussiness of the leaves is also a challenge when painting geranium.
YOu did great job. The piece is very fresh and I feel the rain is there

Thanks,
Irina
