Sap Green overload

This is the Williston Church steeple peaking out from
behind fall foliage. Where would we be without Sap Green?
Today I am going to pick up my paintings from the Round
Barn show and will try to squeeze in some plein air painting
time...but maybe with the mission of not dipping my brush
into the Sap Green! That in itself can be my challenge...
We must always give ourselves some sort of assignment when
it comes to painting...make it exciting, work BIG, work small.
use a flat brush for the whole painting, don't sketch first...so
many choices, hopefully I'll settle on one or two today!

Have fun and I look forward to seeing how much variety in green you can get without good old sap green being used!

I got a kick out of your Stock Exchange painting. You did the exact same crop as me! I haven't gotten too far yet with my painting. I am particularly loving your weekly figure paintings on the right of your blog. Just beautiful!
