proper proportions

I can't wait for the open figure sessions to start
again next week at our local arts center. I don't
want to get too rusty. I call this piece "why the long
face", because she is somewhat out of proportion.
Both in the face and the shoulders compared to the rest
of her...So I need to get back into the swing of things.

I like the title, but not because she's out of proportion - she has a sad look in her eyes... I like the your style looks with figures - and I look forward to seeing what you do in your classes! Figure painting is on my To Do list...and you're inspiring me to move it up toward the top!

Actually, I like your proportions. She seems to have a long, slender neck. I agree with Stilin Studio that her eyes are sad. Lovely work.
