The show season has wound down to a slow trickle...I have one piece in an upcoming VT Watercolor Society group show at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, that opening reception is on Halloween from 2 - 4 p.m., but I can't make it to that one and then the small picture exhibition at the Mary Bryan in Jeffersonville has an opening reception on Sunday November 1st from 3 - 5 p.m., which I'll try to make. It's always bitter sweet, but now I'll start to plan for next year...actually December, when there is a winter group show at the gallery in Shelburne...so I guess there's still work to do!

this piece is just stunning, Annelein! WOW-- I love it! Hope you can take it easy some and use those creative juices for next year's shows. Your work is always wonderful.
I bought these exact lilies to paint a week ago. I painted them 3times and never quite liked the composition. You make it look so easy. Did you use any masque? I had painted around the stamins. Also, my flowers weren't closely clustered. Love your work.
Wonderful colours
